Bird Box Building
Visit Green Keepers Barn - Number 4 on the map
Experience the joy of woodworking in a condensed, stress-free environment! The Pentland Group invites you into the Greenkeepers workshop for a fun, wood work taster session. Build your own bird box.
We have taken care of all the measuring and heavy sawing so you can get straight to the best parts: building and decorating. You will piece together the pre-cut sides, front, and back before selecting your favorite roof style—options include rustic larch or traditional felt. After assembly, spend the rest of the hour personalising your bird box by painting, carving prepared wood, or shaping custom wooden plaques to attach to the front.

Wet Felting
Visit 'The May' - Number 10 on the map
Dive into a colourful, sensory crafting experience with our introductory wet felting session! In just 45 minutes, you will transform raw, incredibly soft Merino wool into a one-of-a-kind piece of textile art.
The session is wonderfully hands-on: you will start by blending your favourite wool colours, then layer them into a unique pattern on a bamboo mat. Next comes the magic—using warm water and skin-friendly olive soap, you will roll and agitate the wool until the fibres interlock perfectly. You’ll leave the session with a gorgeous 20cm x 20cm felted artwork to take home and display.

Embroidery

This introductory class is perfect for complete beginners, families, and anyone looking to try something new in a relaxed, supportive environment.
During the session, you will use a hot glue gun to "sketch" a small, raised design directly onto your fabric. Once set, you will use colorful embroidery thread to sew over your glue outline, creating a vibrant, puffed-out 3D masterpiece.

From flooding the screen to pulling the ink, you’ll be in control of the entire printing process.
